Anita Kettis, 92, formerly of Warren, PA went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2020 in Fort Worth TX, following a brief illness. She was born in 1928 in Warren, PA. A daughter of the late Peter Cheronis and Penelope Moraitis.
She graduated from Warren Area High School and from Jamestown Business College. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for the City of Warren Municipal Department. She retired from Warren Components Corporation in 1990.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband John W. Kettis (1993), her daughter Pamela J. Gay (2019), her grandson, Patrick R. Gay (2007) and her sister Athena Lampros (2018).
She is survived by her brothers Raynold Cheronis, Nick Moraitis, George Moraitis, sister Diane McDonald and her children Terry Kettis (John) of Houston, TX., Beth Lundberg (Mike) of Warren, PA., Vickie Poole (Bill) of Mansfield, TX., and Diane Becker (Joe) of Hurst, TX, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a son-in-law – Thomas Gay of Warrenton, VA.
Friends may call from 4-6 pm Wednesday September 9th, 2020, at Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA. CDC guidelines and state mandates will be observed, must wear masks and social distancing will be enforced. A funeral service will be held Thursday September 10th, 2020, at 10:00 am at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Jamestown, NY. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA.
