Adam A. Piccirillo, Sr., 95, a resident of the Rouse Warren County Home and formerly of Warren, PA. died Friday morning, May 10, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born October 29, 1917 in West Hickory, PA. to the late Benjamin and Angeline Demattio Piccirillo. He has resided most of his life in Warren and was a former resident of Ridgway and Irvine, PA. Adam had been employed with the former National Forge Company, Struthers Wells Corporation and retired as a die maker from the former G.T.E. Sylvania after many years service. He was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church and a former member of St. Luke’s R.C. Church. He was a former member of the Holy Redeemer Church Holy Name Society, Struthers Hose, Marco Polo Club of Jamestown, N.Y., Warren Moose Lodge 109, Warren American Legion Post 135, and Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. He was a 4th Degree member of the Warren Council of the Knights of Columbus. Adam was an accomplished ball room dancer and lover of his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed carpentry, remodeling, woodworking, was an avid golfer, boater and traveler, enjoying cruises and trips to Europe. He is survived by his daughter – Carol Confer and husband, Jim of Warren, PA., 3 Sons – Adam A. Piccirillo, Jr. and wife, Mary Jane of Bangor, Maine, Benjamin Piccirillo and wife, Linda of Spring Hill, Kansas, Michael Piccirillo and wife, Terrie of Phoenix, AZ., Daughter-in-law, Susan Piccirillo Marino of Erie, PA., 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Regina Ciroli Piccirillo whom he married at Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Johnsonburg, PA. on November 12, 1938 whom died July 7, 2007, 1 Son – J. Patrick Piccirillo, 3 Sisters – Amelia Randinelli, Mary Princepe, Amerika Kulbacki, 2 Brothers – John and Michael Piccirillo, 1 infant brother – Michael Piccirillo. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. Monday, May 13, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 P.M. Members of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree will stand guard during visitation hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 with Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
