Brenda Jean Rockwell, 56, of Sheffield, PA, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 28, 2020, following a lengthy illness.
Born on October 13, 1963 in West Stewartstown, NH, she was the daughter of Rosaire “Corky” and Joanne McMann Bedard. Brenda graduated from high school in Trumbull, CT, then served with the U.S. Navy for 2 years. She moved to Warren County after her discharge from the Navy and was employed for 20 years with Berenfield as a general laborer. She was an active member of the Clarendon Vets Club and was a hard worker. She took pride in her grandchildren and was a fighter through her recent battles.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Joanne Bedard, of Sheffield, PA; 3 children – Jessica (Nick) Niles of Frewsburg, NY, Janet Hahn and James Hahn, both of Sheffield, PA; 3 grandchildren – Bradley, Alicyn, and Jozilyn; 1 sister – Pamela (Rick) Bedard of Deer Island, OR; 2 brothers – Ross (Darlene) Bedard of Trumbull, CT, and Jimmy (Lisa) Bedard of Beacon Falls, CT; and 4 nieces and nephews – Ashley, Amber, James, and Dean. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Rosaire “Corky” Bedard.

I still can’t believe you’re gone, way, way to young! I’ll remember our childhood days as fond memories were we got in trouble together when you visited the country side.
And of course the trouble you got me into when I visited the city side . I always had someone from your neighborhood who wanted to fight me or they just wanted to say hi to you and thought I was you.
You fought a long hard battle it’s time to rest now. Give everyone in heaven a hug and kiss from me, I miss them all.

I really enjoyed our conversations over the past year when we saw each other at the vets club. You have a heart of gold and care so much for your family and friends.
