Martha L. Vaughn, 92, of Warren, PA., died Monday afternoon, December 9, 2019 after a brief illness. Martha was born November 9, 1927 in New Bethlehem, PA. to the late Henry and Lena Steggers Keener. She was a member of First Church of God.
Martha is survived by her children – Patti Freeman and husband, Gene, Juanita Barker and husband, Michael all of Newark, OH., George H. Vaughn and wife, Ronda of Curwensville, PA., Susan Supenia and husband, Clair of Ginter, PA., Kim Alberts and husband, Dan of Warren, PA., 2 Sisters – Doris Hopper of New Bethlehem, PA., Esther Matas of Johnstown, PA., 11 Grandchildren, 3 of whom were very close to her, Tristen Doke, Ryan Buvoltz, Natalie Massa, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor H. Vaughn who died March 29, 1993 whom she married October 20, 1973 in Parsonville, PA., and several siblings.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc, 304 East Street, Warren, PA., with Rev. William Hargenrader, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Kellersburg Cemetery, Armstrong County, PA. So sorry for the loss of Martha. She was a sweet lady and I remember her fondly from our pre-teen years. We sure gave her a hard time. May God Bless you and give you comfort in this time of grief. I am sure she’s up there with Vic giving him heck. Much love and sympathy.
