Mary Berardi, 89, of Warren, PA. died Friday morning, July 20, 2012 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room after a brief illness. She was born June 3, 1923 in Warren, PA. to the late Samuel and Phyllis Barone Berardi. Mary was a lifelong resident of Warren. She was employed with the former G.T.E. Sylvania as a machine operator for 42 years retiring in 1983 and a member of their Quarter Century Club. Mary was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She had been a volunteer with the Warren Senior Center and is well loved by all her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by 2 Brothers – Louis Berardi and Gerald J. Berardi and his wife, Nancy all of Warren, PA. several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters – Betty and Jennie Berardi, 3 Brothers – John, Chuck and Sam Berardi. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Joseph R.C. Church on Monday at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard R.C. Church, Bradford, PA., officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
