Mae E. Canon, 90, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday morning, September 27, 2019, at Warren Manor.
Born on September 29, 1928 in Pineville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joshua Newland and Mary Estelle Bulkley Moore.
Mae had lived in Tidioute, PA most of her life. She was a homemaker and worked at several different restaurants in Warren. She also had been employed with GTE Sylvania in Pleasantville, PA, and worked at Interlectric and at Warren State Hospital.
Mae is survived by her 3 children – Nancy Anderson (Timothy), and Taylor Laird III, all of Warren, PA, Kenneth W. Laird (Debbie) of Windham, ME; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death her first husband, Taylor Laird II; 1 sister – Alberta Wright; 2 brothers – Nelson Moore and Joshua Moore; 1 grandson – Steve Strain; and 1 daughter-in-law – Debbie Laird.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Excelsior Cemetery.
