I read Henrietta’s obituary in the paper this morning. I recently moved back to Jamestown after living in California for several years. When I was a teenager I babysit the children of Henrietta, when you all lived on Stoneman Avenue in Lakewood. I want to express my sympathy for your loss. My name is Kathleen Parker. My maiden name was Hare, the daughter of Elinor Hare who owned a beauty shop in Lakewood for several years during the 60’s and 70’s. My mother and Henrietta were friends. I remember her as being very kind to me. I am so sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear of your moms passing. Have some good memories of her. Thinking and praying for you all. With love, Jackie Horn
I never had the pleasure of meeting Henrietta. I only know her son, Don. His UPS route often includes a stop at our construction company in Mayville. His demeanor, attitude and friendliness I expect he learned growing up from his Mom and Dad. So surely she was a Great Lady! My condolences to the entire Whittington family.

I just found out this past weekend of Rusty’s passing. My heart is broken. I thought the world of her and will miss her very much. I will keep you all in my prayers. I am sure that Rusty and my mom are enjoying a nice chat up in heaven. Rest in peace my dear friend. Thank you Rusty for all you did for me over the years.
Love to you all.
