Robert L. “Bob” Still, 92, of Warren, PA., died Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Warren, PA., after an extended illness. He was born August 29, 1925 in Warren, PA., to the late Raymond and Edith Sickstrom Still. Bob was a Warren area resident his entire life and a 1944 graduate of Warren High School. He had served with the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Seaman 1st Class. Bob was employed for 38 years with the former New Process Company as credit manager, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a former member of the Warren Elks Lodge and their band, and the Warren Eagles Club.
His daughters and his grandchildren were a great joy in his life. He is remembered as being a great father, who loved his walks outdoors and dog.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gladys Sorensen Still whom he married January 4, 1947 in Warren, PA., 2 Daughters – Cathy Berryhill, Karen Turner and husband, Tim all of Warren, PA., 7 Grandsons and 4 Great Grandsons, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Sisters – Dorothy Bimber, Adalade Genberg, Lois Rudolph, Raya Nelson, 1 Brother – Clifford Still.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A funeral and committal service will be conducted Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 907 Pennsylvania Avenue East, Warren, PA., with Rev. J. Maier, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
