Diana Lee Hagerman Smith, 77, of Warren, PA., died peacefully
into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Wednesday
morning, May 31, 2017 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice
Home, with her loving family surrounding her. She was born
February 21, 1940 in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Arthur
and Margaret Tingwall Hagerman. Diana was a lifelong Warren
area resident and a 1960 graduate of Warren High School.
She was employed with Lorangers, Blair Corporation and the
former Central Care Nursing Home in their dietary department.
Most recently she was employed as an aide for CRI.
Diana was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She
enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed attending
lunches and dinners at her church with her family and many
friends. She loved traveling, going to the beach and Disney,
attending the Tall Ships in Erie, PA.
She was an enjoyed cross country skiing, walking, biking, sitting
around campfires and having picnics on her patio. She loved
shopping with her daughter. Most importantly in the life, was
her family, her strong faith and a love of her Lord, these were the
center of who she was.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Dorrain L. Smith of
Warren, PA.,
Her fiancé, Richard Confer of Warren, PA., 3 Sisters – Mary
Morris and husband, Kirk, , Linda Phillips and husband,
Raymond all of Warren, PA., Patricia Phillips of Corry, PA.
Several nieces and nephews and her cat, Muffy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Boyd Smith, brother-in-law, Gary Phillips.
Friends will be received one hour prior to a Memorial service
Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00A.M. Grace United Methodist
Church, 501 Pennsylvania Avenue East, Warren, PA., with Rev.
Rich Pierson, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph
R.C. Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to
