Ralph E. Bemis, 86, of Warren, PA., died Saturday morning, February 4, 2017 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born September 22, 1930 to the late Ross E. and Bessie Crawford Bemis. He was a Warren area resident since the early 1970’s moving here from Springville, N.Y. He was a heavy equipment operator and carpenter, he had helped build the West Virginia Turnpike. Ralph was an avid fisherman and bowler, he enjoyed watching Western movies.
He is survived by his son, Alan R. Bemis of Corry, PA., 2 granddaughters – Tracy L. Widner of Columbus, PA., and Stacey Baum McDonald of Clymer, N.Y., 2 Stepdaughters – Debbie Frederick of Corry, PA., Donna Frederick of Russell, PA., 2 Stepsons – Brad Frederick of Conway, S.C., William Frederick of Gowanda, N.Y., several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Erickson Bemis, 1 Daughter – Gloria Baum, 2 Brothers – Russell E. and Robert E. Bemis.
