Cindy, Steve & family
I are so sorry about Charlie. I have so many childhood memories of “Chuckie”. May God help you find peace in this difficult time.
Looking at Chucks picture here, and thinking he is gone, just isn’t right…………this is such a great picture of Chuck, just looking at it, I can hear his voice and hear him laugh…………..I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will never see him again…………….Chuck called me from the hospital the night before he passed, to tell me of his condition. He sounded a little tired, but said he wasn’t feeling that bad, and that the IV blood thinners that they had him on should allow him to get out in a few days. We discussed him coming out to California to celebrate New Years Eve with me and Sherri at the Whiskey a go-go on the Sunset strip. Chuck was one of the biggest rock and roll fans I have ever known. He knew all the songs, all the bands, all the players names, and what kind of instruments they played…….over the years I probably attended at least a couple dozen concerts with Chuck, and those were some of the best times I’ve ever had. I don’t think I will ever fully recover from Chucks passing. There is a hole in my heart…………….I am so very sad and sorry for your loss………….My prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of darkness…………………..Pat Hackett-Burbank California
