Margaret made a difference in many children’s lives. She will be missed.
I worked with “Maggie” at the Clarke School for the Deaf…She was a sweet, loving and caring person to all who knew her…It was an honor and a joy to work with her…
Maggie, as my children called her, was a gift from God. I was a teacher at The Clarke School for the Deaf, when I unexpectedly became a single dad. Fortunately for both Clarke and my family, Maggie had been a houseparent at the School and she agreed to baby sit my young son and daughter from the time they came home from school until I got out of work several hours after that. She was my children’s favorite sitter, hands down! She had such a warm and caring way about her and always thought of fun yet educational activities to engage my ‘kids’ who now are 39 and 37 years old!. She easily wore a smile on her face and she seemed to simply glow with compassion. I never heard her say a mean word, yet she had my children’s love and rapt attention. She truly made an enormous difference in our lives and I shall be eternally grateful that we had the privilege of knowing this extraordinary lady, Maggie. Wilson.
