David M. Cook, III, 73, of Warren, PA, and formerly of Sharon, PA, died Friday, August 5, 2016 at Golden LivingCenter – Kinzua in Warren, PA.
David was born on May 5, 1943 in Sharon, PA, the son of the late David McNeal Cook, II and Laurline Quillian Cook. He had lived in the Warren area for the past 20 years moving to the area from Sharon, PA. He was a 1961 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage, PA and was formerly employed as a milkman with Rust’s Dairy and later with Meadow Brook Dairy. David was a former member of American Legion Post 135. He enjoyed classic cars and going to car shows.
David is survived by his 3 children – David Cook, IV, of W. Middlesex, PA, April (Bill) Biggart of Sharon, PA, and Paul Cook and his fiancé, Geneva, of Austin, TX, 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great-granddaughter, 1 brother – Robert (Linda) Cook of Hadley, PA, 1 Sister – Patricia (Loren) Sederburg of Tiona, PA, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Salapek Cook, who died on April 29, 2015, and 1 Brother – Paul Cook.
At David’s request there will be no visitation. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
