Angie M. Pellegrino, 97, of Warren, PA., died on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at U.P.M.C. Chautauqua Hospital, Jamestown, N.Y.
She was born January 20, 1928, in Sheffield, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony Pellegrino and Angelina (Papalia) Pellegrino. Angie was a graduate of Sheffield High School. After graduation, she went to work for the former McMillen Lumber in Sheffield until her retirement. She spent long hours working at her family owned grocery store in Sheffield and co-owned the Warren Roll Arena. Angie had a vast knowledge of Stocks and Bonds, she would research, buy and sell, and did quite well with those. In her earlier years, Angie was a member of the Investors Club of Sheffield. She was a very devote catholic, had a strong faith, and a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church. After retirement, Angie found a love for golf, and even had a hole in one.
Angie had a huge heart and loved being like a 2nd mother to all her nieces and nephews, she would do anything for any of them. The nieces and nephews always enjoyed being with her, her love, and her great kindness, time spent with “Aunt Angie” was a blessing and enjoyed by all.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including; Angie Clopp and Tom of Warren, Pa, Louis D’Agostino and Helen of Pittsburgh, Pa, Anthony Pellegrino and Anita of Warren, Pa, Thomas Pellegrino and Sally of Warren, Pa, Rose Willis and Mike of Mechanicsburg, Pa, James Boisseau and Susanne of Odenton, Md, and Carol Boisseau and partner, Bruce of Crofton, Md; and a large number of great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 4 Sisters – Rose D’Agostino, Mary Bolsseau, Margaret Novosel, and an infant sister, Mary Pellegrino, 1 Brother, Anthony J. Pellegrino, 2 Nieces – Mary Ann Church, and Carlene Novosel, and one nephew, Craig Novosel.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday March 22, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Church gathering space, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Mark O’Hern, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Warren, PA.
