Mary Louise Taylor, of Warren, PA., died October 11, 2024 at Warren Manor, due to a brief illness. She was born in Phoenixville, PA., to the late Joseph and Agnes (McQuade) Taylor. She has resided in Warren, PA, for the past 58 years and was formerly of Phoenixville, PA. She was a 1958 graduate of Bishop Kendrick High School. Mary was employed as an administrative assistant at Blair Corporation, retiring in 2000 after 20+ years employment. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church.

She is remembered by her family as a woman who loved to laugh and always found the good in others. She loved Hollywood gossip and reading TMZ to keep up on the latest celebrity news. She was always told that she missed her calling being a paparazzi!  That might have all started when she was an extra in the 1958 movie “The Blob” which was filmed in her hometown when she was a teenager.  Those who knew her will remember her always wearing a scarf or a wig, way before the Real Housewives started the trend! Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and pets were her greatest joys in life.  She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Mary is survived by her 3 children – Denise Whipp and husband, Joe of Warren, PA., Paul Mathyer of Pittsburgh, PA., Stephanie Lawson and husband, Ed (Slugger) of Warren, PA., 2 Grandchildren — Ciara Whipp and Taylor Johnson, 3 Great Grandchildren — Eli, Ivy and Sarah Jane.

Mary was an amazing woman with great stories. She cherished her childhood friendships that she kept close through the years.  She was proud of her heritage, and her Irish eyes were always smiling.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held in Warren, PA., at a date and time to be announced.
