Kevin C. Allen, 69, of Irvine, PA, passed away on Monday April 8th, 2024, in the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House.
He was born January 28, 1955, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Claud and Marquerite (Brown) Allen. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Michele Massa Allen, whom he married on July 10, 1976. He is also survived by his Son and daughter-in-law, Chad, and Sierra Allen and their two daughters, Ella, age 10, and Maggie, age 7. Kevin and Michele could always be seen together enjoying the same activities and making lasting, loving memories together.
Kevin had many in laws that were like siblings to him and shared so many memories with: Toni (Chuck) Loomis, Sam (Gayle) Massa, Pete (Laurie) Massa, Renee (Skip) Sperry, Anne (Martin) Rich and many nieces and nephews.
He was employed with the National Forge and Ellwood National Forge for 43 years. He made some wonderful lifelong friends through work.
In his free time, you could find Kevin boating on the Allegheny Reservoir and camping with friends and family. He always enjoyed waterskiing and knee boarding. Kevin enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood, NJ and most recently in the Gatlinburg, TN area.
Whether it was school functions, gymnastics meets, cross country meets, or horse shows, Kevin was always there to support his granddaughters, son, and daughter in law.
The last few years, Kevin has been very active helping with Allen Racing, supporting his granddaughters and son as they raced ATVs around the country. Whether he had a wrench in his hand, or his hands were cheering them on, Kevin loved being at the races and being and intricate part of the race team. He was always busy getting the ATVs ready for the next race season and making sure everything was perfect as they headed to the starting line.
He was a former Assistant Fire Chief with Pleasant Volunteer Fire Dept. and was active in the Boy Scouts, specifically the Irvine Troop.
