Roy “Bud” Reynolds, 83, of Warren, PA., died peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital, AHN, Erie, PA.
Bud was born November 17, 1939, in Warren, PA. He was the son of Roy W. and Bessie Groves Reynolds, Sr. Roy was a lifelong Warren area resident. He was a 1957 graduate of Warren High School. He had served with the U.S. Airforce as airman 3rd class. Roy was employed as an inspector with the former Struthers Wells Corporation for 20 years and retired from the former National Forge Company.
Bud was a 32nd degree mason with the Joseph Warren Lodge #726 and a 33rd degree mason with Coudersport Consistory. He was a member of the Warren Ferrah Grotto. Roy was an avid fan of Warren and Penn State Wrestling, Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Nationals. He loved to hunt, fish and trap.
Bud is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kendall “Kenny” L. Kinander Reynolds whom he married October 27, 1962, in Warren, PA., 2 Children – Scott Reynolds and wife, Denise of Scandia, PA., Todd Reynolds and wife, Carolyn of Warren, PA., 2 Brothers – Dave Reynolds and wife, Sue of Erie, PA., Ralph Reynolds of Springhill, TN., 4 Grandchildren – Jennifer Gaskell (Cary), Maureen Walker, William Reynolds (Amanda), Lara Amspacher (Ben), 2 Great Grandchildren – Teagan and Beau Gaskell, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. James Swanson, Pastor, Pleasant Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.
