Shannon L. Dunham, 62, of Clarendon, PA., died peacefully Saturday morning, June 17, 2023, at the home of his daughter in Youngsville, PA., after an extended illness. He was born July 27, 1960, in Warren, PA. Shannon was the son of Levi C. and Clara Littlefield Dunham. He was a lifelong Clarendon area resident. Shannon was a 1979 graduate of Sheffield High School. He was employed for 33 years with Warren General Hospital in their maintenance department, retiring due to illness. He is remembered as a real people person, who had a great sense of humor and kind spirit. He was a member of the Clarendon Veterans of Foreign War Club, American Legion and Warren Eagles Aerie. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Shannon is survived by his 2 children – Karin L. Dunham and Levi D. Dunham both of Youngsville, PA., 3 siblings – Shane Dunham and wife, Becky, Melissa Wilson and husband, Mark, all of Clarendon, PA., Tammy Crouse of Ludlow, PA., 2 Grandsons – Kirk and Garrett Dunham, several nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Shawn Dunham.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., Warren, PA., with Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating. It was with a great deal of regret I read of Shannon’s passing in this morning newspaper. Shannon was a great guy, and always had some conversation to share. My deepest sympathy to Shannon’s entire family. We lost a great friend.
A great soul gone too soon! We had good memories together when I came home to visit. My condolences to the whole family. See you again someday on the other side.

I’ve known Shannon since the third grade and he always made it fun to go to school! We had a lot of good times together throughout the years and have a ton of fond memories. He’ll be missed. RIP Shannon, Prayers for the family!

I was sorry to read of Shannon’s passing. I worked with him for 30 years and he was always such a nice guy. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time. May you find peace in your memories of him.

My condolences to the family ,and friends we went to school at Allegheny Valley, Beaty and Sheffield I remember when we were young for some reason he had baby duck lings in his tub in the bath room , we would laugh about that quite often when we would see each other ,rest in peace my friend.
Shannon was always in good humor as we worked together at the hospital. I asked him numerous time for advise on building and Motorcycle rides. the stories of growing up hunting and fishing were very comical. He really enjoyed his life!
