I saw Tom just about every school day for 19 years, from kindergarten through high school. We both lived on Beech Street. Tom lived higher up the hill. He and Jerry Damond started the walk, and picked up more and more of us, first down Beech Street to St. Joseph’s school, then, by ninth grade, across Fourth and Third to Beaty, then across Fourth, down Laurel or Hazel to Second and to the old Warren High School. Every day. Never met a better man, a more cheerful man, always glad to see you. Knowing Tom made my life better. RIP, Stillie.
I am saddened to hear about the end of a remarkable life. Rest in peace dear uncle
I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful person. I work with him at Blair he was the VP and I was IS supervisor. He had a wonderful personality great sense of humor.
He was an amazing man and the best father in law a girl could ask for. I am so sad.
I was so saddened to hear that Tom passed away. Tom was a good friend and boss. We worked together many years at Blair. We shared the same wedding anniversary date. So we always wished each other a Happy Anniversary. I have many good memories. He was a great person. I know he will be missed by his family and his friends. Prayers to the family in your time of grief.
I have known Stillie all of my life. From a little girl he was always around my family home being great friends with my mom and dad. There wasn’t a better guy then him. Such a great person. Prayers to his family
Dear Kayla,
Although I live in Bedford PA now, I still remember your grandfather and grandma and their dedication to you when your were in my Market Street class! Always a pleasant smile and a concerned way for your welfare and education. May he rest in God’s peace. Mrs Karen Davis
I’m so sorry for your loss. Tom and family were neighbors across the street for all my growing up years. I always remember his kindness and his smile.
My supervisor for 20+ years. Great teacher, listener, and friend. Always a positive attitude. He will be missed.
Stillie was one of the best of the “West End Boys”. He taught me to take and record the statistics in the basketball games. His sly grin was unforgettable. Recently, on Facebook, I got to see his family and his Warren friends as they are today. Happy memories. RIP.
