Marlene A. Ceriola English, 79, of Corry, PA and formerly of Warren, PA passed away peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daughter on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, after a brief illness.
She was born February 17, 1936 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Dominic and Grace Iorfido Ceriola. Marlene was a graduate of WAHS and worked for several years as a waitress and at the former New Process Company before moving to Corry, PA where she worked until recently for McCray Aluminum.
Marlene loved her flower gardens, working outdoors and cooking. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she above all loved her Lord. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Marlene is survived by her three children, Robert English of Erie, PA, Randall English of Corry, PA and Sheila English Bean (Doyle) of Garland, PA, her grandchildren, Joe English (Danielle), Susan English Ospina (Jason), Adam English, Amber Alexander (Austin), Abby English, Brian Bean, and Robbie Bean. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Kylee, Cole, Ava, Emma, Byron, Shirley and Andrew, and her companion of 38 years, Donald McCray, her best friend, Helen (Charles) McCray, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Marie, and her former husband, Robert English, Sr., all of her siblings, Frank Cervola, Rose Camp, Teresa Viglo, Bernice English, Angelo Ceriola and Samuel Ceriola.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Doug McCray, Pastor of Victory Harvest Fellowship, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R. C. Cemetery, Warren, PA.
