Thomas R. Yaegle, Sr., 89, of Warren, PA., died Monday January 2, 2023, at The Rouse Home after a brief illness. He was born December 25, 1933 in Warren, PA., to the late Robert and Lois Chambers Yaegle.
Tom was a 1952 graduate of Warren High School. He was employed with the former Warren Planing Company, Warren County Dairy and retired from National Forge Company after 31 years employment. He was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church where he had served on the church council and cut the lawn. He was a member of the Antique Club of America and former member of Kinzua Valley Car Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, collector of miniature die cast cars, gas pumps, bicycles and handguns.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the “600” staff of the Rouse and Dr. Endres for the kindness and care given to our father while at the Rouse.
He is survived by his two children – Deborah Ansell and husband, Stephen of Warren, PA., Thomas R. Yaegle, Jr. and wife, Marianne of Youngsville, PA., 1 Sister – Susan Huckabone of Warren, PA., 2 Grandchildren – Lacy Kvasnikoff and husband, Zach of Waikolda, HI., Joseph Yaegle and wife Jessica of Youngsville, PA; one great granddaughter Danielle Cleo Yaegle; and several cousins and a nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Jane Stack Yaegle whom he married June 18, 1955 at the Warren Church of the Nazarene.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Wednesday January 4, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff York, Chaplin of the Rouse Home, officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. I’m so sorry for your loss I used to work at the National Forge the same time Tom did and always enjoyed going into the test lab where he worked and talking to him, he was a really nice man.
