Gene Blum was a real asset to Struthers-Wells. He was a hard worker and gave them their moneys worth. Many times if he could not get a transfer wagon, Gene would put 12″X 12″ oak cribbing 10′ long on his shoulder and carry it to where it was needed, yes gene had much strength, but also was friendly to his co-workers. So very sorry to Gene’s family and friend. Rest in peace “Blummer”, as often called at the shop. You have labored hard.
Rest In Peace Gene ! It’s been a Long hard Road , and you trudged it well !! Thought and Prayers to the Family !
Please accept my sincere condolences to Gene’s family. You were always a true gentleman.
It was a pleasure to help with Gene’s care. He was always polite and appreciative. He will be missed
Please accept my thoughts and prayers for Gene. As a Suppa we had several family gatherings at my Aunt Isabelle Lucia Suppa’s and her husband Ange Lucia’s house. Their daughter, and my cousin Rose Betty, was Gene’s wife. I have fond memories of those family gatherings. Gene was always such a kind man any time I saw him at a family event.
