Paul A. Bobelak, 93, of Warren, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, in the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House, Warren, PA.
He was born in Warren on October 20, 1928, the son of the late John and Barbara S. (Pristas) Bobelak. He was a graduate of Warren High School Class of 1947 and was of the Catholic faith. Paul retired from Struthers Wells Corporation in 1995 after 45 years of service.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, and working on his family farm. He was a past member of the Sugar Grove Rod & Gun Club, a life member of the Sugar Grove AM Vets Post #50, Warren Co. Chapter of the PA Farm Bureau, and a member of the NRA.
Paul is survived by the mother of his children, Bonita K. Suppa; three children Cheryl D. (Bobelak) Schalk and her husband, John, of Sun City West, AZ, Kim M. Smith and her husband, David, of Erie, and Paul F. Bobelak of Warren, PA; four grandchildren Cory Smith of Erie, Amanda Smith of Washington, Troy Bobelak of Warren and Nicole Faries of Erie; four great grandchildren Luke Smith, Faith Smith, Kaylee Smith and Payton Smith; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings; infant sister, Sonja Bobelak, John Bobelak, Steve Bobelak, Michael Bobelak, and Mary Teconchuk.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA 16365. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Tomasone, officiating. Burial will be in Kitchen Cemetery, Warren, PA. Best uncle ever. Will miss him dearly.
