Kathleen B. “Kay” Anderson, 84, of Warren, PA. died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room after a brief illness. She was born September 5, 1929 in Port Allegany, PA. Kay was the daughter of the late Carl and Anna Besse Bloomquist. She was a Warren area resident most of her entire life and a 1947 graduate of Warren High School. Kay was employed with the former New Process Company in the mailing dept. retiring after several years employment. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bingo at her residence, Canterbury Court. She especially enjoyed and loved her family.
She is survived by her four children – Ronald Anderson and wife, Grace of Fresno, CA., Diane Gustafson and husband, Rick, Robert Anderson and wife, Karen, Nancy Farnham and Dave Onoratti all of Warren, PA., 7 Grandchildren – Kristen Frick and husband, Joe, Ashley Gustafson, Nicole Hollabaugh and husband, Justin, Monica Nelson and husband, Brian, Carrie Anderson and Fiance, Tyler Abner, Melissa Anderson, Jessica Farnham and Fiance, Aaron Schlesinger, 3 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Ralph N. Anderson whom she married October 4, 1947 in Warren, PA. who died June 26, 1986, 1 Infant Daughter – Judy K. Anderson, 2 Sisters – Lois Rindosh, Patricia Andersen. Friends may call Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. by Rev. Jon Swart, Associate Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
