Marilyn A. Danielson, 93, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was born in Jamestown, N.Y., to Edward and Sylvia Eckstrom. A lifelong resident of Chautauqua Co. She owned and operated The Gift Box, alongside with her sister, Peg Lane and Sister-in-Law, Jeanette Eckstrom. After years of owning The Gift Store, she moved onto buying and selling antiques through her new venture at Danielson Antiques. Her knowledge of antiques was willingly shared to ones seeking advice. She mentored many, with some individuals becoming authors of various subjects, to identify and value through publishing books and dedicating her in their prologs. She gave uplifting encouragement to ones she engaged with. A strong-willed woman who lived a life with passioned enthusiasm. She married J.R. Haight and gave birth to four sons. Sadly, he passed on. She worked at that time at Crescent Tool. She married Richard A. Danielson and birthed another son, and finally a daughter she wanted to have now with 5 sons. Her husband, Richard, passed in 1991.
She is survived by 3 Sons and her daughter. She was a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She created a lasting mark in life to the ones she loved. She was loved and respected for her joy of living. Words can’t express in full the capacity of her being and how much she will be missed. No services will be observed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., of Warren, PA. has been entrusted with her arrangements. My thoughts and prayers are going out to Mino’s family.
She was a wonderful person. Our family loved her and her family. We were all very close in our earlier years. Spent much time all together. She was like a second mother to all of us Eddy kids.
Mino you will be greatly missed
