Sandra D. Holmes, 61, of Warren, PA. died Monday evening,
December 30, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving
family. She was born July 20, 1952 in Chicago, IL. She is the
daughter of the late Elmer Lowe and Lahoma Simpson Lowe
whom she resided with. Sandra was a Warren area resident since
1986 and formerly of Youngstown, OH. She was a 1970 graduate
of Lakeview High School of Chicago, IL., She was currently
employed as a administrative manager with G.G. Greene
Enterprises. She was an avid line dancer, enjoyed playing at the
casino, camping, baking and cake decorating.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her longtime
companion and friend, Calvin L. Knapp, 1 Son – Christopher
Holmes, 1 Grandchild – Alexandra Holmes, 1 Sister – Shirley
Breitenreiter of Warren, PA., 5 Brothers – Richard Lowe (Shirley)
of Youngstown, OH., Robert Lowe of Taylor, MI, Roy Lowe
(Carol) of Pensacola, FL., Ralph Lowe (Sharon) of Elizabeth, AK.,
Randy Lowe (Debbie) of Youngstown, OH., several nieces and
nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by
2 Brothers – Raymond and Ronald Lowe.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304
East Street, Warren, PA. on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 P.M. A funeral and committal service will be
conducted there at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2014 with Rev.
Neil Siefert, Chaplain of Hospice of Warren County, officiating.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to place

I am so sorry to hear about Sandy, my sincere condolences go out to each and every one of you. I struggle to find the words that could even begin to describe her positive influence in my life or even my fondest memory, there are just to many and I’m so grateful for all of them.
