Jeanne B. Reinard, 93, of Warren, PA., died Monday afternoon, December 20, 2021, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA., after an extended illness. She was born in Warren, PA. to the late James P. and Marie A. Schuler Belton. Jeanne had formerly resided in Edinboro, Erie, Carnegie and Bridgeville, PA. She was a 1944 graduate of Warren High School and a 1947 graduate of Hamot Hospital School of Nursing. While she resided in Bridgeville, PA., she was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She volunteered at the Carnegie Boy’s Club and served as Noble Grand Regent of the Jane Gilmore Rebecca Lodge. She was employed as a Psychiatric Nurse with Mayview State Hospital from September 1947 until October 1965. She then transferred to work at Warren State Hospital. She was the first woman to transfer from Mayview State Hospital to the Warren State Hospital where she retired in January 1986 after 38½ years with the state system. Jeanne was a very active member with First Lutheran Church, being active with the adult bible study, communion steward and funeral luncheon committee. She was a member of the Clarendon V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #1124, Ladies of the Warren Moose Lodge 109, former member of the Warren Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She was an instituting charter member of the Cornplanter A.A.R.P. of Warren, Pa. She was the first female member of the Warren Crimestopper Board of Directors. Jeanne was an avid reader.

She is survived by her son, James P. “Jack” Godwin and wife, Billie Kay of Clinton, PA, 1 Grandson – James P. Godwin, II, 5 Step grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson, 9 Step Great Grandchildren.

Friends may call at the First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Avenue, Warren, PA., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 1 hour prior to a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Ewing, Pastor, officiating. Masks and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through First Lutheran Church.
