Charlotte Irene Gillett, 91, of Warren, PA passed away peacefully at her home of 60 years on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Charlotte was born in Warren, PA on March 7, 1922, the seventh child of Otto and Bertha Rosenquist. Upon graduation from Warren High school in 1940 she worked at Warren Bank and Trust until her marriage to William C. Gillett on February 23, 1946. She enjoyed flower gardening and crossword puzzles and loved books. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 67 years, William C. Gillett of Warren, PA, and her son, John W. Gillett of Tidioute, PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Earl, Howard “Pete” and Kenneth, sisters, Alice Grant, Alma Slotkin and Esther Connolly, and a son, Timothy A. Gillett who passed away earlier this year. At Charlotte’s request there will be no public visitation and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Bill and John,
I am so very sorry to hear about Charlotte’s passing. You folks were such good neighbors when Paul and I lived in Warren. My prayers and good thoughts are going out to you both. Remember the good times you had with Charlotte all these years. God bless you both,
