Patricia “Ann” Musante, 81, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.
Born on October 19, 1939 in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Lyman Stearns and Catherine McQuone Fannin.
Ann was a graduate of Bradford Area Sr. High School and later graduated from Robert Morris Secretarial School in Pittsburgh. She was employed as a secretary and nurse’s aide, mostly in Warren. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church where she sang in the choir. She was also a cantor at the Interfaith Chapel at Warren State Hospital. Ann was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Warren and the Philomel Club. In her younger years, Ann was a member of the Valley Hunt Club in Bradford. She enjoyed reading, doing word search puzzles, and attending the Music in the Park concerts on Friday nights in Warren.
Ann is survived by her 3 children – John (Jane Walton) Musante, and Paul (Kim Colvin) Musante, all of Warren, PA, and Julie (Randy) Alwine of McDonald, PA; 4 grandchildren – Kirsten, Gabrielle, and Austin Musante; Alicia Alwine; 1 great-granddaughter – Kimaya Musante; and 1 brother – Robert Fannin of Millington, TN.
Friends may call on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Ave. West, Warren, PA. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Ascension at St. Joseph Cemetery. E-mail condolences may be sent by visiting www.lewisfuneralhomeinc.com. Paul and Kim, I am so sorry about your mom. I enjoyed doing her hair and listen to her about the special Olympics.. She was so proud of the two of you. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Remembering our younger years in Bradford and Dagus Mines where first cousins and their families would sometimes gather. Ann was the sweetheart with the winning smile. In later years, Ann could be found visiting the Schwambergers home in Pittsburgh where she was a student. I am grateful for our final visit with Ann while she was working in Warren. Cousin Nancy, Aunt Patricia and I shared lunch time with Ann. To brother Bob, daughter Julie, and sons John and Paul, I send my deepest sympathy to you as your remember your Precious Mother and Sister.

I will always remember AN for her generosity, kindness and sweet smile. She was one of the most lovely women that I ever knew and I am proud to have called her my cousin.

I would have stopped by at the funeral home but we were away on vacation in New Mexico. Please know my thoughts and prayers have been with you and will continue to be. I remember the days of your parents and my parents and the close friendship they had of which my dad and your dad’s went back to childhood. I also remember those days of me babysitting the 3 of you at your Hillview Drive Home in Pleasant Township and the summer I worked at St. Joes Cemetery. More recently I would see Paul, his wife and your mother around town. She remembered me as I did her and we would always exchange greetings and sometimes stop and chat for few minutes.
