Nicole “Nikki” L. Font, 49, of Warren, PA., died Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born September 18, 1971 in Warren, PA. Nicole is the daughter of Joseph L and Sandra “Sandy” L. Felton Font, who survive in Warren, PA. She was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1989 graduate of Warren Area High School. Nicole earned her Bachelors’ Degree in Environmental Science from Edinboro University in May 1993. She enjoyed reading, making candles, decorating her home with homemade crafts, gardening, music, reading and cooking different foods. Nikki was a free spirit, who enjoyed music from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s Era, she especially enjoyed the band, Grateful Dead. She and her son, enjoyed dancing, attending Music in the Park, birdwatching, hiking, bike riding together. She attended AA meetings, where she sometimes served as moderator of the meeting. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She currently was looking forward to volunteering at Wells Springs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Reilly Ethan Font at home, 4 siblings Lori Jo Nelson, Warren, PA., Lisa M. Font of Limerick, PA., Kristina Bartscht and husband, Brian of Largo, FL., Michael Shay Font of Sugar Grove, PA., 2 Nieces – Ashlee Nelson, Lainey Font, 4 Nephews – Ryan and Michael Mackowiak, Justin Nelson and Logan Borland, was extremely close with her Aunt Gayle Gray of North Warren, PA., several aunts, uncles, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents – Francis Anthony “Shay” Font, Naomi “Jeanette” Walstrom, Maternal Grandparents – Ronald L. and Mildred Pelava Felton, 3 Aunts – Dreena K. Felton, Debra Walstrom, LaVonne Cerce.
Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2 to 4 P.M. CDC guidelines of face masks and 6 feet social distancing will be observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA. on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., with Fr. Stephen Schreiber, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
