Charlotte M. Zaffino, 85, of Warren, PA. died Friday evening, June 14, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1928 in Tionesta, PA. to the late Charles and Lottie Carll Host. She has resided in Warren, PA. since 1946 and was a 1946 graduate of West Forest High School. She was employed with Blair Corporation in the finishing dept. for 18 years. She had previously been employed with the former G.G. Greene Co. and Browns Boot Shop. Char was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Women of the Warren Moose Lodge 109 where she enjoyed playing Bingo and Trivia. She was a member of the Warren Eagles Aerie. Char was an avid bowler, traveler and beach lover. Her family was the center of her life, she especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children – Holly and Cindy Zaffino, Jeff F. Zaffino and his wife, Diane, 2 grandchildren – Kyle and Ashley Zaffino all of Warren, PA., several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bruno J. “Jeff” Zaffino whom she married September 19, 1956 in Warren, Pa., who died December 1, 1991, her siblings, Jeanette Licht, Charles Host, Audean Blum, John Host, Allen Host. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted Tuesday at 3:45 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. Fr. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard R.C. Church, Bradford, Pa., officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
