Carl William “Bill” Anderson, 85, Warren, Pa. died Monday evening, February 11, 2013 at Rouse Warren Co. Home after an extended illness. He was born July 12, 1927 in Warren, Pa. to the late Sven (Burt) and Svea Bloomgren Anderson. Bill has resided his entire life in Warren and was a 1945 graduate of Warren High School. He had served with the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1st Class during World War II. He was employed with the Warren Post Office as accountant, window clerk, and floor worker. He served as Manager of the Federal Employees Credit Union retiring from there after 37 years service. He was a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Woodruff Anderson whom he married August 1, 1953 in Warren, Pa., 4 Children – Gary Anderson, Ellen Scalise, Emily Cassidy and her husband, James, Kristen Baughman and her husband, Brian, 2 Sisters – Virginia Thompson, Dorothy Turner, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother – Richard Anderson. Friends may call at the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church Parlors, Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. with The Rev. Matthew Scott, Priest-in-Charge, and Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Rouse Warren Co. Home, officiating. Entombment will be in the church columbarium. Full military honors will be conducted by members of the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through the Alzheimer’s Unit of the Rouse Estate, P.O.
