I was blessed to be her friend and pastor. I am confident her prayers and service in this world will continue to bless so many in the weeks and years to come.
There are very few people like Yvonne in the world. Always giving so much of herself to others. I have learned many things from her at church. I will never forget when she found me and said, “hey, you turned the faucet around! I thought it would be backward forever”. Haha! She had told me that bothered her, so one day without saying anything I changed it!
I know that she is now in Glory! The world is better because she lived in it, and I am better for having known her.
She was a wonderful woman and aunt. All will miss her. May peace be with her family at this time.
Sorry for your loss May you find peace in the memories made. ❤️❤️
Yvonne was a special lady who I enjoyed meeting through Hill and Dale Garden club, she was a true inspiration, praying for the family!
So sorry to learn of Yvonne Lee’s passing,my dear friend,Lorie Bearfield, daughter has shared so many stories about her wonderful Mother! Lorie’s love and devotion was evident in the care she gave her mother.Peace to Yvonne Lee.
Mrs. Lee was an amazing and special educator. I had her as a teacher in 4th grade at Lander Elementary. She always made learning fun. I remember many inside recesses I and other students spent playing chess with her. I also remember the way she would reward us with extra recesses spent playing dodge ball in the cafeteria. She simply had a zest for life! May God be with her family and grant them strength and peace during this difficult time.
My very first Sunday of stepping foot into Pleasant Community Church I was greeted by this ” little ” old lady, Yvonne. Jesus knew I needed her in my life. She graciously shared her faith through everyday life activities. She left this world saying, ” I Love You, ALL. “
Sorry for the loss of your mother, what a beautiful write up. She was loved by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Marleen, Vea and Lorie. My prayers to you girls and your family’s. Your mom was a wonderful woman.
I worked with Yvonne on the Great Lakes Conference Covenant Women’s Board (Evangelical Covenant Church) for several years. We had a lot of fun traveling together to meetings but more importantly she taught me a great deal about living by faith. What a great lady she was.
Our sincerest condolences to you Lorie, and to your your family. We know how much your Mom meant to you. Reading her obituary, you can tell she was a special person and dear to many. She is happy now in the arms of her Lord. Hugs to you…..
