Thomas F. Fleming, 65, of Saylorsburg, PA. and Tidioute, PA., was found, Monday, July 6, 2020 at his residence in Tidioute, PA., after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born July 12, 1954 in Warren, PA. Tom was the son of James and Dorothy Way Fleming. He was a 1972 graduate of Eisenhower High School. In 1973 he enlisted with the U.S. Navy and retired from the Navy in 1993 as an optical. He then went to work with the Downs Reeder Lumberyard. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, had a dog named Babe, a cat Bandit and a duck named Quackers. He is remembered as a man who always put his family first, they were the center of his life and he was enjoyed and loved by many friends.
He is survived by his 3 children – Craig Fleming of Virginia Beach, VA., Kimberly Fleming of Stroudsburg, PA., Rachel Rivera of Marshalls Creek, PA., 3 Sisters – Beth Burch and husband, Jim of Sugar Loaf, PA., Sandy Campbell and husband, Gary of Russell, PA., Nancy Fleming of Warren, PA., 1 Brother – Bob Fleming and wife, Vicky of Sufolk, VA., 3 Grandchildren – Monica Albarran, Eva and Justin Scott, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Fleming. A celebration of his life will be conducted on Saturday, July, 25th 2020 at 11:00am at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, in Saylorsburg, PA and the burial on Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, NJ at 1:00pm.
