Elaine Kramer Bimber
Elaine M. Kramer Bimber, 84, of Russell, PA. died Thursday evening, November 29, 2012 at Warren Manor Nursing Home after an illness of the past year. She was born June 30, 1928 in Irvine, PA. to the late Patrick and Clara Petri Archbold. She was a Warren and Russell area resident most of her entire life. Elaine was a 1946 graduate of Warren High School and was employed as a stamper with Blair Corporation retiring from there after 17 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Elaine was all about the grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley W. Bimber, 3 Sons – James A. Kramer and wife, Mary, William M. Kramer and wife, Twila, Ronald M. Kramer and wife, Stacy, 1 Daughter – Carole J. Mahan all of Warren, PA., her stepchildren – Denny Bimber and wife, Nancy of Scandia, PA., Gregg Bimber and wife, Pam of Pittsfield, PA., Rodney Bimber and wife, Ronda of Franklin, PA., Tim Bimber and wife, Betty Jo of Scandia, PA., Cinda Tarr and husband, John of N. Warren, PA., 1 Sister – Geneva Watson of Erie, PA., 10 grandchildren, several step grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James W. Kramer who died December 19, 1978, 1 Sister – Clara Belle Archbold. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 3, 2012 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. David Blank, Pastor, officiating.

I’m so sorry that I can’t get home for the funeral. I loved Elaine very much and will always think of her on our joint birthday. I can still remember the day dad took us to meet her, I don’t remember if her and Grandpa where married yet or not, and her telling me that she had the same birthday as me. As an 8 year old I thought that was pretty cool and for a long time we always saw each other that day to say happy birthday. My sincerest condolences.
