Vicky V. Parker, 80, of Warren, PA., died peacefully after a brief

illness, Monday morning, April 2, 2018 at Warren General

Hospital. She was born October 3, 1937 in Warren, PA. Vicky

was the daughter of Bruno and Assunta “Sue” DeFabio Vavala.

She was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1955 graduate of

Warren High School. After school she graduated from the Ora

Jean Beauty School as a beautician. She was a self-employed

beautician and owned and operated a Merle Norman Cosmetics

franchise and along with her husband, owned and operated the

former Ultra Tan. Vicky was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C.

Church. She was active with her high school class of 1955,

meeting classmates for luncheons and helped coordinate class

reunions. Vicky’s greatest joys in life were cooking, which was

her passion, especially cooking for her family and grandchildren.

She was a member of a group of girls, who got together for

dinners, playing cards and girl talk, she especially enjoyed her

friends, Carol Wolfe and Gina Jabo, who are part of this ladies

group.

She is lovingly remembered as a woman with a great sense of

humor with a “Sassy” attitude. Family and friends were her life

whom she enjoyed entertaining.

She is survived by her daughters – Karen Frazier and husband,

Scott, Kris Smith and husband, Dan, 4 Grandchildren – Brandon

Frazier and wife, Molly, Andrew and Morgan Smith, Lauren

Frazier, Sister – Rosalie Matteo, Brother – Bruno J. Vavala and

wife, Cathy all of Warren, PA., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband of 49 years, Paul E. Parker whom she married September

7, 1957 in Warren, PA., who died June 25, 2007, 1 Nephew – Rob

Matteo.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304

East Street, Warren, PA., on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5 to 8

P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 P.M. with

Deacon Raymond Wiehagen, presiding.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, April 5,

2018 at 10:00 A.M at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell

Street, Warren, PA., with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor of St.

Joseph R.C. Church, officiating, assisted by Deacon Joseph Lucia.

Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery. The family of
