Shirley Ann “Nanny” Wurster Fasenmyer, 81, of Pleasant Drive, Warren, PA., died Friday morning, June 23, 2017 at Warren General Hospital after a long fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Shirley was born November 5, 1935 in Oil City, PA. Nancy was the daughter of Ora and Florence Carroll Wurster.

She was a resident of Warren, PA., since 1957 moving there from Oil City, PA. Nanny was employed for 17 years, with the former New Process Company, as a clerk in the mailing department, retiring in 1991. Shirley had a strong Catholic faith and was a strong woman who never complained about her illness. She had a great love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bernard F. Fasenmyer whom she married September 28, 1957 in Oil City, PA.

2 Daughters – Deb Wiltsie and husband, Tim of Starbrick, PA., Pam Meley and husband, Tim of Warren, PA., 1 Brother – Ron Wurster and wife, Diane, 2 Sisters – Delores Perry, Mary Bean and husband, Glenn all of Oil City, PA., 4 Grandchildren – Greg Wiltsie of Warren, PA., Dan Wiltsie of Raleigh, N.C., Kyle Meley and wife, Jessica of Dubois, PA., Melissa Meley and companion, Doug Swatsworth of Russell, PA., 1 Great Grandson – Weston Meley of Dubois, PA., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, 2 Sisters – Janet Snyder and Jean McAlavey, 1 Brother – Lorraine Wurster.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 Street, Warren, PA., on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 11:15 A.M. until 1:15 P.M. when a funeral service will be conducted by Fr. Richard C. Tomasone, Pastor, of St. Joseph R.C. Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
