Robert L. “Bob” Daye, 97, of Warren, PA, died peacefully, Monday, May 14, 2018, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. He was born November 6, 1920 in Warren, PA, to the late I. Leonard and Alice Harrington Daye.  He has resided most of his life in Warren and was a 1938 graduate of Warren High School, of which he was the last surviving member.  He attended the former Hoff’s Business College, Warren, PA.  Bob was employed with the United Refinery Company retiring as Vice President in charge of purchasing in 1983 after 44 years service.  He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, life member of the Warren Council of the Knights of Columbus, former member of St. Joseph Cemetery Board of directors.  Life member of the Jamestown Musical Association, former member of the Conewango Valley Country Club, Warren Chamber of Commerce, Warren County Planning Commission, Dept. of Human Services Board.  He enjoyed music, golf, playing cribbage and being with his family. His son, Jim wants to thank all the girls plus Becky at the Rouse Home for taking such good care of his dad.

He is survived by his son – James R. Daye of Warren, PA, and several cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Maneval Daye who died December 22, 2003 whom he married September 4, 1948 in Warren, PA., 1 Sister – Marguerite Daye in 1930.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family by Fr. Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard R.C. Church, Bradford, PA. There will be no visitation hours observed.  Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C.
