Regis P. Geitner, Jr.

Regis P. Geitner, Jr., 79, of Warren, PA. and formerly of Oil City, PA. died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at his residence after suffering a heart attack. He was born July 3, 1933 in Warren, PA. to the late Regis P. and Alice Mullen Geitner. He was a resident of Oil City, PA. for 30 years where he was employed Joy Manufacturing retiring from there after more than 25 years employment. He was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School and a Warren area resident for 49 years. Regis was a member of the Oil City Eagles Club, Franklin Elks Lodge, avid golfer and a member of the Senior Golf League of Jamestown, N.Y. A avid fisherman and enjoyed playing softball in his younger years. He had served with the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his companion, Shirley DeVore Hoden of Warren, PA., 2 Children – Virginia ”Ginny” Eakin of Seneca, PA., Regis P. Geitner, III and wife, Irene of Rocky Mount, N.C. 4 Grandchildren – Halyce Eakin, Kailyn Lam, Regis P. Geitner, IV., Sara Geitner, 1 Great Grandchild – Reid Geitner, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister – Margaret Ann “Peggy” Dudenhoeffer. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. when a memorial service will be conducted by Rev.
