Phyllis A. DeVore, 87, of Warren, PA., died peacefully, Thursday afternoon, April 5, 2018. She was born February 12, 1931 in Prospect, Butler Co., PA., to the late Ralph Vincent and Mary Annalean Albert Davis. Phyllis was a Warren area resident most of her life. She was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School and a 1951 graduate of Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing, as a registered nurse. She earned her surgical nursing education from Cooks County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Phyllis was a member of the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. She was employed with the Warren General Hospital, Warren State Hospital, Warren Dental Arts and Visiting Nursing of Warren and Meadville, PA. She enjoyed crafting, and numerous card clubs. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lyle E. DeVore, Sr. whom she married at 1st English Church, Butler, PA., on August 21, 1952, 4 Sons – Lyle E. DeVore, Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of Midlothian, TX., Chuck D. DeVore and wife, Donna Marie of Gilbertsville, PA., Scott D. DeVore and wife, Raisa of Orlando, FL., Brad P. DeVore and wife, Katie of Jamestown, N.Y., 2 Sisters – Alice Arnetta Saul of Butler, PA., Glenna Ruth Zaborny and husband, Joe of Coral Springs, FL., 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. followed by a memorial service at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. J. Maier, Pastor, officiating.
