Mr. Natale Joseph “Ned” Pascuzzi , age 94, of Madison, Indiana formerly of Warren, Pennsylvania entered this life on December 14, 1923 in Endeavor, Pennsylvania. He was the loving son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Grazia) Pascuzzi of Italy. He graduated from high school in Warren, Pennsylvania where he lived most of his life, before moving to Madison, Indiana in 2013. He was inducted into the United States Army on June 30, 1943 in Erie, Pennsylvania during World War II. He rose to the rank of Sergeant serving the 19th Bomb Group, 28th Bomb Squadron. He was honorably discharged on March 6, 1946 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana receiving the American Theater Ribbon, the Asiatic – Pacific Theater Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the Distinguished Unit Badge. Ned married Elizabeth “Betty” Onufer on August 30, 1947 in Sheffield, Pennsylvania. This union of 71 years was blessed with a daughter, Pam Kimmel. In 1985 he retired from National Forge in Irvin, Pennsylvania working as lead plumber. Ned belonged to the Sons of Italy of which he was treasurer, VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Warren. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, and dancing. Ned loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ned died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 1:20 a.m. at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana.

Ned will be missed by his loving daughter, Pam Kimmel and her husband, Fred of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Corey Kimmel, Michael Kimmel and his wife, Heather, Alicia Minteer and her husband, Bryan; his great grandchildren, Kai, Kaydence, Mia, Bryson, Adri; his brothers, Robert Pascuzzi of Winchester, Kentucky, Eugene Pascuzzi and his wife, Jan of Richardson, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ned was preceded in death by his father, Salvatore Pascuzzi, his mother, Maria (Grazia) Pascuzzi; his loving wife of 71 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Onufer Pascuzzi, who died on Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana; his brothers, Santo Pascuzzi and Ernest Pascuzzi.

Friends will be received in the gathering space at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 10:00A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at which time a joint Memorial Mass for Ned and Betty will be conducted by Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Warren, Pennsylvania.
