Mary A. Armanini Russo, a resident of the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, PA., and formerly of Warren, PA., and Clearwater, FL. died Friday evening, August 11, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born in New Castle, Wyoming to the late John and Columbia Catterina Armanini.  Mary was a graduate of Horton High School and the Nurses Training School at Meadville City Hospital and the St. Francis School of Anesthesia in Peoria, IL.  She was employed with the Warren General Hospital as a nurse anesthetist, retiring from there after 42 years employment.  She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and a former member of St. Michael’s R.C. Church, Clearwater, FL.  Mary was a life member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Pennsylvania Association of Nursing, Clearwater Bridge Clubs, Canadian Club and a member of the Women’s Club of Warren.  She is survived by several nieces, nephews, including Gail Rock and his wife, Helie of Hilo, Hawaii, Dennis Rock and his wife, Anne of Youngsville, PA., and several great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Russo who died July 10, 1993 whom she married April 16, 1951 in Warren, PA., 2 Brothers – James and Henry Armanini, 2 Sisters – Louise Grazioli and Margaret M. Rock.

There will be no public visitation hours observed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, August 16, 2017at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, West, Warren, PA., by Fr. James Gutting, Pastor of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, officiating.  Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of the Resurrection in St. Joseph R.C.
