Margaret L. Andrews, 89, of Youngsville, PA., died Thursday morning, August 11, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Titusville, PA. after a brief illness. She was born April 7, 1927 in Vandergrift, PA.

Daughter of the late Harold Ramsey and Helen Matilda Blackson Walker. Margaret was a resident of Warren since 1960. She was a graduate of Vandergrift high School and was employed with the former New Process Company for 15 years, working in the finishing and returns departments. Previously employed in Vandergrift as a telephone operator at the former Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the church women’s circle, senior fellowship where she made several phone calls to members. She had been a Girl Scout and Brownie Troop Leader, member of Youngsville Senior Center. Margaret was an avid viewer of television game shows, enjoyed baseball and basketball games.

She is survived by her daughter – Etta Andrews of Youngsville, PA., 2 Sisters – Esther Walker Taylor of Youngstown, OH., Helen Jean Walker Skelton and husband, Donald of Sandusky, OH., 1 Brother – Leroy Walker of Jeannette, PA., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arthur Andrews whom she married May 2, 1958 in Vandergrift, PA., who died December 13, 1991.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 4 to 6 P.M. directly followed by a funeral service by Rev.
