Lloyd R. Haggerty, 73 of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at his home following a brief illness.

Born on October 21, 1945 in Madison Twp., Clarion County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Catherine Irene Young Haggerty. Lloyd served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, receiving several medals in including the Vietnam Service Medal with One Star. Lloyd lived most of his life in Warren and was formerly employed as an executive assistant with the Ruth M. Smith Center in Sheffield from 1971-1975. He was later employed with Reliable Furniture from 1975-2005. Lloyd was a member of the Sheffield United Methodist Church.

Lloyd is survived by many friends, including long-time friends, Candy and Arch Watkins and their children, Karen Shick and her children, and Rusty and Cindy Blodgett and their children.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 10am until 11am at which time a memorial service will be held with Rev. Marcus Briggs, retired minister, officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. Funeral Detail and U.S. Navy personnel.
