Joseph A. Critelli, 70, of Warren, PA. died Monday morning, August 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 25, 1943 in Warren, PA. to the late Louis J. and Constance V. Necci Critelli, Sr. He had resided most of his life in Warren and was a 7 year resident at Carson City, NV. Joe was a 1961 graduate of Warren High School and served with the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis as a gunner’s mate, on the U.S. Independence. He was employed and retired from the former Rexnord, Inc. after several years employment as a machinist. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, watching western movies, especially ones with John Wayne in them. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by 5 Children – Anthony J. Critelli and his companion, Megan both of Sheffield, PA., Joseph A. Critelli, Jr. of Florida, Louis Critelli of Evansville, IN., Lisa Rumich of Clarendon, PA., Judy Hoden of Sheffield, PA., 2 Brother – John Critelli of Rochester, N.Y. and Louis Critelli, Jr of Henrietta, 1 Sister – LuAnn Critelli of South Carolina, 2 Stepdaughter – Heather and Mikki Pierce both of Warren, PA., 17 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Brother – Edward Critelli. A celebration of his life will be conducted at a later time by the family.
