On this date, Monday, February 6, 2012, I have left my human body. I ask you pray that my spirit and my soul is now in paradise with my God which is what I have striven to achieve all my life. Do not weep or cry or be sad for me because I will be waiting on the other side for my loved ones. While I was here on this earth in the human body that God gave me I was blessed many times over with family and friends who I loved and who loved me.

After graduating from Warren Area High School class of 1955, I joined a band of brothers for life, the USMC. I was a lifelong member of the Casselberry, FL VFW. I enjoyed traveling numerous destinations, watching football, going into the woods to target shoot with my wife, Rebecca, and hunting with my brother Frank and my friend Chuck. A very wise man once told me when I was a youngster that a man would have one great hunting dog in his lifetime and mine was my faithful companion, Kelly.

I was baptized 75 years ago in the old St. Joseph ‘s Church on Beech Street and when I was a teenager I was confirmed there. I attended church at St. Augustine when we lived in Casselberry, Florida and when we retired back home to Warren we returned to St. Joseph Church on Pennsylvania Avenue.

I leave behind my beloved wife, Rebecca to whom I have been married for 25 years, and my son, Michael, who grew into the man I always hoped he would become. I am so at peace since God brought his wife, Elizabeth, into his life. I am also sadly leaving behind Dustin and Brinn Viola, my grandsons, Meighan Grayson my step-granddaughter, Micah Grayson my step-

grandson, my sister, Anita Oaks and my brother, Frank Viola, Jr.

I was preceded in death by my mother, Viola Rodgers Viola Lyle who spoiled me rotten!! I was also preceded in death by my father, Frank Viola, Sr., my first wife of 26 years, Barbara Viola, a son, John Gerard Viola, and a daughter, Amy Anne Viola both whom died at birth.

This is the day that the Lord has made for me. I pray that I will be in his loving presence this day which I will finally meet face to face with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of our Father in heaven. I tried my best to be in tune with His Spirit and use His guidance in all my endeavors.

There will be no visitation as I will be cremated but before that my body will be taken into St. Joseph R.C. Church on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. for my final Mass of Christian Burial which will be said by Fr. Richard J. Toohey, Pastor. I will be buried in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery at a private family service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, PA. 16365 or St. Joseph Church Educational Center Fund, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. 16365. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
