Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Onufer Pascuzzi, age 88, of Madison, Indiana formerly of Warren entered this life on August 27, 1929 in Ludlow, McKean County, Pennsylvania. She was the loving daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hanusik Onufer. She resided most of her life in Warren, Pennsylvania. On August 30, 1947 she was united in marriage to Natale Joseph Pascuzzi in Sheffield, Pennsylvania. This happy union of 71 years was blessed with a daughter, Pam. She worked early in life at Sylvania as a line worker. Betty was a devoted wife, loving mom, grandma, great grandma and homemaker. She loved to cook, entertain, so enjoyed being a wife and participated in a bowling league. She belonged to the auxiliaries of the American Legion, VFW, and Moose Lodge. Betty loved to host the cook outs for the officers of the Sons of Italy. She was a faithful member of the Holy Redeemer Parish in Warren. Betty and her husband had moved to Madison in 2013 to be near their daughter. Betty died on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 5:10 a.m. at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana.
Betty will be missed by her loving daughter, Pam Kimmel and her husband, Fred of Madison, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Corey Kimmel, Michael Kimmel (Heather), and Alicia Minteer (Bryan); her adoring great grandchildren, Kai, Kaydence, Mia, Bryson and Adri; her sister, Helen Janka of Erie, Pennsylvania; her brothers in law, Robert Pascuzzi of Winchester, Kentucky, Eugene Pascuzzi and his wife, Jan of Richardson, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Hanusik Onufer; her beloved husband of 71 years, Natale Joseph “Ned” Pascuzzi, who died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 1:20 a.m. at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana; her sister, Ann Harriger; and her brothers, George, John, Paul and Murphy Onufer.
Friends will be received in the gathering space at Holy Redeemer R.C. Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, PA, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 10:00A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at which time a joint Memorial Mass for Betty and Ned will be conducted by Fr. James Gutting, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Warren, Pennsylvania.
