Edward Danetz

Edward A. “Ed” Danetz, 67, of Russell, PA. died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Warren General Hospital Emergency Room after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born September 25, 1945 in Riverside, N.J. to the late Herman A. and Sadie Schwed Danetz. Ed has resided in Russell for the past 13 years and was formerly of Youngsville, PA. He was a 1964 graduate of Burlington High School, Burlington, N.J. He was owner and operator for 11 years of Sucha Deal Carpeting and Floor Covering. He was of the Jewish Faith. Ed was always a very generous giving person, even beyond his death by donating to the center of organ and tissue recovery.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Margaret “Peggy” Skinner Danetz whom he married September 1, 2000 in Warren, PA., 1 Son – Richie Danetz and his companion, Sandy of Clementon, N.J., 1 Stepdaughter – Tina Britt and husband, Mike of Russell, PA., 2 Sisters – Bobbie Danetz of Delran, N.J., Lorelei Spector and husband, Rowland of Cherry Hill, N.J., 8 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion his dog, Moka, also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter – Heidi Packard, 1 Brother – Bruce Danetz. A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
