Dorothy A. Anderson Turner, 87, of N. Warren, PA, died peacefully Sunday evening, September 24, 2017, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home. She was born on December 28, 1929 in Warren, PA, to the late Sven (Bert) and Svea T. Bloomgren Anderson. Dorothy was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1948 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed with the former New Process Company and was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She enjoyed reading, bowling, gardening, and spending time with friends and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by 4 children – Daniel P. (Loretta) Turner of Seattle, WA, Kathleen (Jerry) Park of Scandia, PA, William C. (Angie) Turner of Russell, PA, and Mary Pat (John) Shattuck of N. Warren, PA; 8 grandchildren – Melanie Park, Tara, Ryan, and Troy Shattuck, Dora, Lexie, and Eva Turner, and Kayla Turner; 3 step-grandchildren – Tamra Park, Jerry Park, and Diana Kuntzmann; 3 step-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law – Sylvia Anderson, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Turner, whom she married at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Warren, PA, on October 4, 1952; 1 son – Timothy J. Turner; brothers William Anderson and Richard Anderson, and a sister – Virginia Thompson.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA, on Friday, September 29, 2017, from 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA, with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
