Diane McChesney Kondak, 76, of Warren, PA died Thursday, February 5,

2015 at St. Mary’s Home in Erie, PA. Born on October 26, 1938 in Warren,

PA she was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Blanche Barlow

McChesney. Diane lived in Warren her entire life and was a 1956 graduate

of Warren High School. She owned and operated City Ice and Beverage in

Warren for many years until her retirement in 2005. She also worked for 8

years with the former Warren National Bank and Marine Bank. Diane was

a Malt Beverage representative on the state and local level. She enjoyed

learning, gardening and loved animals.

Diane is survived by three children, Michael Kondak and his fiancé, Pam

Sosinski, of Erie, PA, Amy Quaker and her husband, James, of Jamestown,

NY, and Jill Kondak of Bemus Point, NY, 2 grandchildren, Zachary and

Robin Quaker of Jamestown, NY, 1 brother, Tom Barlow and his wife, Pat,

of Bradenton, FL, and her godson, Kelly Jones and his wife, Lisa, of Kansas,

Montana. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her

step-mother, Carolyn Timmis-McChesney and a step-brother, Dr. John

Timmis.

At Diane’s request, there will be a private celebration of her life with her

family and close friends at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304
